Mountain Escape
The inspiration for this painting came from a trip I took with my mother to Colorado. After being rerouted due to a mudslide, and a long sleepless night, we found ourselves in an unexpected place the next morning. As the sun awakened from behind the mountains, I took a walk out on a trail alone. I remember everything looking so bright and colorful. I felt alive and balanced. I had escaped.
16x20 original acrylic painting on canvas. custom framed. This painting is unique because the tools I used to create it were my fingertips and an old credit card.
